What Does A Professional Photographer Take On A Road Trip

Being one of the Panasonic Luminaries and speaking at the many shows and classes for photography I am often on the road quite a lot.  So I thought I would share with you some of the items that I’m always bringing and what to bring to make your digital life a little bit easier.  Of course you’re going to bring your smartphone, (I have an iPhone)  Don’t forget to bring your cables of course.   I use my iPhone for lots of things like Maps, e-mail etc, but sometimes the phone fails.  I also use a GPS every once in awhile too, it never fails.

So what does this have to do with Cameras?  Because I’m spending half of my time on the road I’m not always around power to charge my camera batteries, so I have developed this system of using an AC Convertor and power bricks to have a mobile charging station.  Check out my Vlog for more details, ideas and more.

Instead of carrying a separate GPS get the Navigon App for your iPhone/iPad that includes on board maps and never worry about getting lost or finding anything again.
